Contentoo links the best freelance copywriters, designers and other content creators all over the world with companies in the Netherlands and elsewhere. We achieve this through our content creation platform. Contentoo is making remote working the standard for content creation. Since we started in 2017, we’ve doubled our revenues each year, and we’re on track for even stronger growth in the year ahead! Our impressive client portfolio includes international companies such as Booking.com, Mollie, Sendcloud, E.ON and Exact. During the next year, we will expand into new markets in Europe. As AE, your job is to keep Contentoo growing. You work closely with your business development representative (BDR) and the Head of Sales. Where others see challenges, you see opportunities. We have a positive mindset and we want to make big things happen as a team. You will also be responsible for localising our sales playbook and sales processes.
What is the Account Executive’s role?
As Account Executive, your goal is to land more new deals than we have Customer Success Managers to handle. You do this by meeting with leads, usually by video call. During the meetings, you carefully identify what the lead’s pain points are. Then you make a strong case for how we can help. You provide leads with a flawless, engaging introduction to our platform. After that, you prepare a proposal and then follow through to ensure the lead becomes one of our clients. Lastly, you guarantee a smooth handover to our Customer Success Management team.
If your calendar isn’t already filled with appointments, we might ask you to step in and start booking new appointments for yourself. We use various tactics to book new sales appointments, including frequent use of recorded video messages.
- You have a college or university-level education
- 4 years of professional experience in tech sales
- You’re tech savvy and sales oriented
- You’ve got excellent communication and writing skills in German
- You’ve got conversational communication skills in English as well as in writing
- You’re passionate, driven and ambitious
- You’ve got an affinity for content marketing and a firm understanding of what it can do.
